Graduated as architect in 1983 in Brussels (Belgium).
He stays in Mexico City as an architect from 1984 to 1989. Then based in Brussels from 1990 and now part time in Lanzarote (Canarias-España).
From 1997, he devotes himself exclusively to image and photography in an artistic collaboration
with the sculptor and videographer Christine Wilmès.
Under the name of ''Wilmes & Mascaux'', the duo is moving towards the study of sites characterized by the notion of abandonment,
deserted and survival in Mexico, USA, Australia, South East Asia and Europe (www.wilmesmascaux.com).
Everyday stories on a dying planet ...
The work has been presented since 1997 in museums, galleries, art fairs and festivals in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Canada, Australia & USA.

Obtient le titre d'architecte en 1983 à Bruxelles.
Il séjourne à Mexico comme architecte de 1984 à 1989. Depuis 1990, il est basé à Bruxelles et maintenant en partie à Lanzarote (Canarias-España).
